WDS: Emerald Lake Aquatic Ecosystem Launchpad

This launchpad explores high-altitude lake water chemistry and ecosystem indicators using long-term monitoring data from Emerald Lake in the Sierra Nevada. It allows students to examine temperature, pH, and nutrient variables over several decades.

Intended Audience & Use Case: Designed for middle and high school biology, chemistry, and environmental science educators. Students use this CODAP workspace to trace historical climate trends, analyze chemical change over time, and construct scientific explanations for ecological ecosystem shifts.
